Puttman Locomotive Works is releasing a N Scale EMD GP40-2H Locomotive Shell.
Originally built by AMF Technotransport in Quebec for the Connecticut D.O.T., these locomotives were a mix of parts from GP38s and GP40s and repowered with an EMD 645 prime mover. In 2017, these units were overhauled by National Railway Equipment (NRE), and reclassified as GP40-3H. They continue to serve the Connecticut DOT on the Hartford Line.
